2007 recap: We didn't get out as much this year because of schedule conflicts in saying that our best showing was again the IHRA North American Nationals @ New England Dragway. We made it to the Semi-Finals and broke out by 63 ten thou. We struggled during qualifying with the track conditions to get a clean pass so we were not really confident where we wanted to dial the car during eliminations. But round by round wins helped nail down the right dial, until the semis. After sitting in the staging lane for 1 hour plus @ 98 deg's the DA really started to climb so we changed the dial from 6.99 to 7.0, need I say anymore. In hindsight, we should have stayed with our original dial, but that's racing. Now for 2008 we have a Brand New Jerry Bickel 2008 Cobalt on its way. Same engine package as last year, but we hope the new car will really help our short times. Can't wait to do some testing. ************************************************************ Our team needs 2 new crew members for the 2008 season. One position could lead to the crew chief spot if you have the experience? No pay here, just a whole lot of fun for someone who wants to be part of a competitive team. All track fees, food and lodging are paid by the car owner. You just need to have the desire, commitment and a technician background. (Drag racing experience preferred NOS is a plus). This is sportsman drag racing at the highest level so attention to detail is most important when you prep a car that will run in the six's over 200mph. Email us and we will setup an interview. sales@fastechracing.com
